How can I connect to Talkers with Skype?

Did you know when you connect with Talkers using Skype, you can show off just as much as they can? Let the Talkers really get up close and personal while you perform for them On Camera.

How to connect with Skype:

To start connecting with Talker’s using Skype, you will need to create a Skype account and handle if you have not already done so.

We recommend creating a Skype handle for exclusive use with your TalkToMe.com account.

All aspects of your Skype account may be visible (through the Skype application) to any Talker that you attempt to reach.

Once you have your Skype Handle please log into the website, go to the Main Menu and select “My Account”. You will enter your Skype Handle on this page.

Note: If Skype has automatically added a prefix – (ex. live: or facebook:) to a Skype handle – the prefix has to be included when entering the Skype handle on your TalkToMe.com account.

Example:

You do not have to be logged in to TalkToMe.com to connect to Talkers through Skype. You will still be charged for Skype calls that are initiated from Skype.

Please Note: Your wallet balance has to have enough funds to connect for 5 minutes at the Talkers per minute Skype rate.

How do I purchase a Recording?

Purchase a recording

Enjoy your previous premium experiences again and again!

The pricing for recorded calls is 25% of the total amount of the original call. There is $3.99 minimum, and the maximum rate is $19.99.

To purchase a recording, select “My Recordings” from the Main Menu to access all available recordings. Click on the Talker’s image for details of the call and the cost of the recording. Click the banner to Purchase the Recording:

You will then be asked to confirm your purchase.

You can also purchase recordings by accessing your “Account History” from the Main Menu. If a recording is available,  a purchase option will be available in the wallet history in the Details column of your call record.

Remember, these will only appear if both you and the Talker have the Recording feature on at the time of the Call. In addition, only calls that originate from the click-to-call box on the website will be recorded, if you place a call from 800-TalkToMe (800-825-5866) the call will not be recorded.

How do I purchase a Video?

Many Talkers provide Videos you can purchase to enjoy at your leisure.


While browsing a Talker’s Profile, you can view their Videos by clicking on the “View my Videos” button in the left navigation bar on the Profile page. On the “My Videos” page, you can see how much each individual one costs.

When you click on the cover image for a Video, you will see a short description and the option to purchase. If you choose to buy the item, click on the “Purchase This Video” button under the description and the cost will be deducted from your Wallet.
